ABE/GED Program Orientation & Placement Testing Winter Term 2011 -Classes begin January 3rd- Sylvania Campus, PCC, 12000 SW 49th Ave. (off Capital Hwy)

Step 1: Fill out an admissions form at the Office of Enrollment Services in CC 208 or online at www.pcc.edu. Mark that you are an Adult Basic Education (ADED) student on the application. If you complete the application online, choose the application for non-credit students. Bring state or federal photo ID. If you are 16 or 17 years old, submit a high school release form with your admissions form.

Step 2: Attend one of the “Orientation and Placement Testing” sessions listed below. No appointment is needed.

Step 3: Return for Session 2 to complete placement testing and scheduling. Important! Read this:

• These sessions are for classes at Sylvania campus. Go to “Orientation and Placement Testing” at the campus you plan to attend.

• Plan to stay for the entire 3-hour session.

• Students will receive an appointment to return for Session II at their first session.

• Get a free parking permit from Enrollment Services or buy a daily parking permit for $3 from the yellow automated machines in the parking lots. Don’t park in STAFF parking. Parking is free during 1st week of the term.
