On the list of things Petri fails to address here is that a huge penalty for modern married couples is the “community property” requirement in Wisconsin (one of only nine states to retain it). In an age where both partners typically work and have personal credit, the less stellar financial history of one person directly impacts the other the moment they sign the license. I know several couples who cohabitate unmarried in large part because one doesn’t want the other’s debt or liabilities. Remove that penalty and see what happens.

Thank you for posting this information. It should be noted that the Tooth Taxi only serves children and goes directly to schools in underserved areas. The van works with schools to identify children who need care. Individuals can not make an appointment on the Tooth Taxi.

Good ideas for cleaning. My family of three just moved into a new home a month ago. Having a toddler, I am always looking for ways of cleaning that are not harsh for my daughter. I HATE the smell of vinegar, but use it anyway because it gets the job done. I just rinse really well and the smell doesn’t linger. I want to go and check out those cleaning rags the article spoke of, I don’t like using my kitchen towels for all cleaning.
